  We are driving east and staying in Buffalo. Found this place and got there shortly after it opened for the evening. Greeted warmly and seated right away. I had the strip steak and it was fabulous. Husband had stroganoff and he loved it too. We were surprised by the tasty bread that was served with the meal and frankly wanted to take a basket full home. Highly recommend it. But get there early as by the time we left there were a lot of people waiting especially for a Thursday night.

  My wife and I drove from Gillette to dine at the Winchester and celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We had crab cakes and fried green beans for appetizers. Both were very good. I had the prime rib which was excellent. My wife had the boneless ribeye steak. It was burned on one side. We told the waitress and she started to say that she could take it back, but then smarted off by blaming my wife's choice of medium-well on a grill. $30 steak that was uneatable.
